But as I got older - as I graduated from Armenian Saturday school, as I moved away for college and then graduate school, as my grandparents passed away - I found myself speaking Armenian less and less. Working with Sosy has been so helpful. After my lessons, I find myself calling my parents and talking to them - in Armenian - about the words I had forgotten or the phrases my grandparents used to say. My partner - who is also taking classes with Sosy - practices his Armenian vocabulary with me. This experience has been more than just refreshing my language skills.
